Results of November activity of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Dushanbe                       

In the hall of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe, the results of activities for the month of November were held. The Head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Dushanbe analyzed the activities of the department and added that a number of works have been carried out to improve the environment, ensure environmental safety, and increase environmental literacy of the population.

It was reported that for violation of the current legislation in the field of environmental protection, the inspectors of the Main Department drew up administrative protocols against 242 individuals and legal entities who committed violations of the law.

As part of the fulfillment of the instructions of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the campaigns "Clean Coast" and "Clean Area" were held twice, within which 16.5 m3 of solid household waste was collected from the coast, rivers and canals and taken to the city landfill. In addition, the campaign "Clean Area" was held 6 times on the territory of microdistricts and mahallas of the capital districts, as a result of which 106 m3 of waste was collected.

In order to prepare for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and to ensure environmental protection, 1,761 garbage collection points are being repaired and reconstructed, boxes are painted, gates are installed, signs are posted on the points.

In this regard, on behalf of the Executive Body of the State Authority of the city of Dushanbe, surveillance cameras are being installed in unfavorable places, which will allow monitoring these places around the clock and prevent environmental pollution and violations in this direction.

It should be noted that within the framework of health rehabilitation and improvement of the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan-the city of Dushanbe, the leadership of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is implementing a number of initiatives that play an important role in ensuring the improvement and prosperity of the capital.
