Another initiative of the Committee in the tree-planting season                     

On November 26 of this year, with the participation of Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizod Bahodur, employees of the central office and subordinate structures of the Committee in Dushanbe, as part of the planting season of planting trees in autumn 2022 and spring 2023, stands for planting seedlings suitable for climate of the place.

It is planned to plant such trees as pine, juniper, thuja, sorghum and steppe plum on this site.

According to the approved plan, the planting of trees, the number of which is 58,163 units, will be carried out by the structures of the executive body of the state authority of the districts of I. Somoni, Sino, Firdavsi, Shohmansur, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population, the Forestry Agency, the Committee on Youth Affairs and the Committee on Environmental Protection.

According to the recommendations of industry experts and arborists, the planting of tree seedlings on this site will be carried out on an area of 1 hectare, with an interval of 3x3 m, and the care of the planted trees will be assigned to the appropriate structures for a period of one year.

We remind you that every year the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan takes an active part in the greening of the capital over the past 2 years, hundreds of ornamental and evergreen trees have been planted on the hills of Sari Osiyo, Luchob, in the cultural and entertainment parks of the capital, which are currently in good development.
