Control operation on the Tajik Sea reservoir                       

Based on the order of the head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Sughd region and in order to implement the work plan, the State Inspection of the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of Flora and Fauna and Fish Resources of this Main Department conducted an operational round-the-clock operation at the Tajik reservoir. During the operation, more than 1 km of fishing nets produced by the People's Republic of China were discovered, removed from the reservoir and destroyed by burning in the area of the Mahram water pumping station in the city of Kanibadam.

The Main Department of Environmental Protection of the region will continue to carry out state control and work to prevent violations in the use and protection of fish resources, as well as conduct explanatory work among amateur fishermen.
