Carrying out environmental campaigns and starting the sowing campaign of this season in the Shakhrituz district of Khatlon region                       

The environmental protection department in the Shakhrituz region, in order to keep the settlements, roads and banks of the Kofarnikhan river clean and tidy, with the wide involvement of employees of enterprises and organizations of the region, students of educational institutions and residents of the region, organized and carried out environmental actions "Cleanliness of the area", "Cleanliness of the coast" and "Cleanliness of the road".

During these activities, various wastes were cleared from the territories of settlements adjacent to the central roads of the region. The soil around the trees was also loosened, the entrances to the administrative premises of enterprises and organizations were improved, the walls of buildings were painted. The garbage collected during these actions was taken to the official landfill of the district.

At the same time, in the course of environmental campaigns carried out in pursuance of the order of the chairman of the Shakhrituz district, a planting and landscaping campaign was launched for the autumn 2022 and spring 2023 seasons. Evergreen trees were planted along the district's highways.
