Conducting a training seminar on monitoring and evaluation of climate change projects                         

On December 6 and 7 this year, a training seminar on monitoring and evaluating climate change projects was held at the Hilton Hotel in Dushanbe. The event was attended by representatives of ministries, departments, organizations and institutions of the republic.

The training seminar began with opening speeches by representatives of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

The main presentations of the first day of the event were on the topics “General information on the progress of projects” and “On monitoring and evaluation of projects on climate change”.

On the second day of the event, topics related to “presenting a roadmap for engaging the private sector to stakeholders” and “discussing opportunities for private sector participation in climate operations” were touched upon.

Meanwhile, in each part of the topics under consideration, questions and answers and a comprehensive discussion of issues were held, which helps to take the next comprehensive steps to achieve the goals set in this direction.
