MEETING OF SPECIALISTS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF THE FINNISH ENVIRONMENT INSTITUTE (SYKE)                  

As part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE) on the project "Development of surface water monitoring in Tajikistan through quality management and cooperation" on November 21 at the Finnish Institute for the Environment in Helsinki, meeting of Tajik and Finnish specialists to exchange experience and discuss issues related to surface water monitoring.

During the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee Kiyomzoda Zarafo Sufijon presented information on the activities of the Committee for the Development of Environmental Policy and International Cooperation.

  In order to study the experience of SYKE laboratory activities, it is planned that the Committee specialists will visit the Finnish laboratory and get acquainted with the management system of the SYKE center.

On November 25, a meeting of the Project Board is scheduled, which will review the activities for the current year, as well as discuss the work plan for 2023.
