Preparation for planting seedlings in the capital

As part of the approved plan of the Executive Body of the State Authority of the city of Dushanbe, during the planting period in autumn 2022 and spring 2023, 58163 pine trees, juniper, thuja, shulash and steppe plum are planned to be planted on the territory of the state institution “Victory Park and Forest Conservation”.

According to the plan, the trees will be planted by the structures of the executive state authorities of the districts of I. Somoni, Sino, Firdavsi, Shohmansur, the Ministry of Health, Social Protection of the Population, the Forestry Agency, the Committee for Youth and Sports and the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On behalf of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, employees of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Dushanbe performed a number of works on digging holes in preparation for planting trees on the territory of the State Institution "Victory Park and Forest Conservation".

On the recommendation of specialists and dendrologists, trees will be planted on this 1-hectare plot at a distance of 3x3 m, and the care of the planted trees will be assigned to the appropriate structures for one year.

We remind you that every year the management of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan actively participates in the landscaping campaign of the capital, and over the past 2 years decorative and evergreen trees have been planted on the territory of the mahallas of Sari Osiyo, Luchob and in cultural and entertainment parks, which are currently in good development.
