Campaign “Cleanliness of the area” in the Vakhsh region

       

                 

In order to celebrate at a high level the 30th anniversary of the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as to prepare for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, environmental events are being expanded in the cities and villages of the country.

In particular, on the basis of the action plan of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Main Department for Environmental Protection in the Khatlon region, the environmental protection sector in the Vakhsh district carried out the action "Cleanliness of the area".

The participants of this event cleared the streets, sidewalks, banks of canals and gutters from debris, loosened the soil under the bushes of shady and ornamental trees, cleared them of weeds.

Taking advantage of the favorable season and good weather, on this day, the participants of the environmental campaign "Cleanness of the area" planted beautiful decorative flowers at the entrance to the district, on the streets and sidewalks, near organizations, offices and other public places.

Representatives of the sector stated that the organization and holding of all public recreational activities to maintain a clean environment will continue to be held on weekends.
