More than 2.5 tons of fish were confiscated                                                                                                             

The General Directorate of Environmental Protection in Dushanbe, in cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, took a number of measures to prevent violations in the field of fish reserves protection during 9 months of 2022. To protect fish reserves, which, along with other important environmental issues, are under state control, the Department of Environmental Protection in cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan confiscated illegal fishing in the amount of 2,574 kg in Dushanbe during this period.

Protocols of an administrative offense have been drawn up against poachers and explanatory work has been carried out.
