The 9th Ministerial Conference on Environment under the motto "Transforming Planet" is held in Nicosia, the Republic of Cyprus on October 5-7, 2022. Within the framework of this event, a number of side-events on the most significant topics and areas of sustainable development, ecology, and environment are planned, including a number of bilateral and multilateral meetings for our country.

At this event, which is held at the level of environment ministers, our country is represented by the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Sheralizoda Bahadur Ahmadjon.

We remind you that with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the specialists of the Committee developed the third review of environmental activities, approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In order to discuss the activities in the field of environmental protection, implementation of international commitments, and development of the fourth review of environmental activities of Tajikistan, the official composition of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan will participate in this summit.

At the same time, with the participation of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection, a side event "The essence of developing the review of environmental activities to address economic, social and environmental problems" was held and other bilateral meetings in the relevant direction are planned.
