Conducting training seminars with the participation of employees of local environmental authorities                                                                                       


Abdurahimov Bozor, head of the Center for Standardization, Methodology and Environmental Standards of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan conducts training seminars in regions, cities and districts of the republic with the involvement of employees of environmental authorities.

These training seminars, which were ordered to be held at the recent weekly meeting of the Chairman of the Committee in order to conduct explanatory work on the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On determining the criteria for assessing the risk level of business entities”, as well as the implementation of the decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan “On creating favorable conditions for introduction of proper agricultural technology in the production of agricultural products” and instructions of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on carrying out operations to identify poppy cultivation in the Republic of Tajikistan, the implementation of the order of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the establishment of an administrative headquarters for poppy operation. Seminars were held at the Department of Environmental Protection in the Kulyab zone, and they are planned to be held in other regions. The purpose of organizing and holding such training seminars is to increase the level of awareness of local governments on the above issues.
