Scientific conference dedicated to the Day of State Independence in GBAO                                                                                         

On September 5, in the Executive body of state power of the city of Khorog of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, in honor of the 31st anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a scientific conference was held with the participation of workers from the agro-industrial complex of the region and other government agencies.

At the conference, Deputy Chairman of the region Umedjon Nosirzoda congratulated all workers of the agro-industrial complex on the Day of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and recalled the importance of this public holiday.

The conference was attended by officials of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region, who spoke about the achievements of environmental authorities during the period of independence of the country, in particular in the region.

During the speech of industry officials, topics such as the environmental situation, keeping the settlements of the region clean, the actions "Cleanness of the area", "Cleanliness of the coast", supervision of the increase in the population of rare animals and other issues related to the protection of the region's environment were touched upon.
