Regular meeting of the ecojournalists club in the Romit Biosphere Reserve                                                 

According to the plan of organizing and holding a meeting of the ecojournalists Club of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of the implementation of the “Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”, on July 2 of this year, a meeting of the ecojournalists club was held in the Romit Biosphere Reserve of the city of Vahdat.

More than 20 members of the club visited the Romit Biosphere Reserve for the first time and enjoyed the fantastic landscapes of this region. The club members were told about the current activities, achievements and innovations of the last years of this place by the deputy director of the State Institution “Specially Protected Natural Territories” Nazhmuddinov N. and director of the Romit Biosphere Reserve Mahmudova A..

Then, after the club members visited the nursery of local keklik species, the deputy director of the State Institution "Specially Protected Natural Territories" Saidov N. held another lesson at which the lecturer presented information about the laws, decisions and programs adopted in this direction in the form of a presentation.

The Club of Eco-journalists, which has been working for more than a year under the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, monthly summarizes the results of the Committee's work in all corners of the country.
