Celebration of the International Environment Day in Sughd province                             

In honor of the International Day of the Environment on June 3 in front of the Kamoli Khujandi Theater of Musical Comedy a festive event and concert was held with the participation of famous artists of the Tajik pop art.

In the official part, Zarif Mirdado, Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, Dzhuraev Abdusalim, representative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and Firdavs Sharifzoda, Chairman of Khujand city, addressed the numerous audience with congratulatory words. At the celebration, as well as a number of veterans and employees of the sphere for their worthy service, achievement of good labor performance in implementing the state environmental policy, for cooperation and making a worthy contribution to improving the environment, as well as representatives of major industrial enterprises of the region, public organizations and the media were awarded letters of appreciation and prizes.
