Nature protection - protection of the Motherland

A solemn meeting dedicated to the World Environment Day was held in the Palace of Culture of Mastchoh district. The festive event was attended by the chairman of the district Azam Alizoda and the deputy head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of Sughd region Bunyod Abdumalikzoda, who congratulated the residents of the district on this event.

Focusing on improving environmental literacy and environmental protection, the chairman of the district stressed that "in the light of the constant support of the Leader of the Nation, the Government and the Executive Authorities of the Sughd region in the Mastchoh district for the implementation of environmental policy, protection and rational use of resources, they have all the conditions and opportunities."

It was noted that every year, as part of the implementation of the state program related to raising environmental awareness, environmental protection activities, actions and explanatory work are carried out.

At the event, a number of heads of organizations and institutions were presented with letters of thanks and gifts for their worthy contribution to the cleanliness of the environment.

It should be noted that with the support of the Executive Body of the State Authority of the district, in cooperation with the district Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, an environmental competition “Nature Protection-Protection of the Motherland” was held, in which teachers, schoolchildren and students published articles on nature protection, solving environmental problems, Tajikistan's contribution and creative initiatives of the Leader Nations in discussing and solving the water problems of the planet.

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas, prizes and cash prizes.

A colorful concert program of cultural figures of the district gave a special color to the event.
