Inspection works in the area of the pumping base “Mahram 1” of the city of Kanibadam                                     

Specialists of the Main Department for Environmental Protection, together with employees of the Department of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Sughd region, during round-the-clock inspection work in the Tajik reservoir, near the zone of the pumping base “Mahram 1", the Kehandier jamoat of the city of Kanibadam, identified cases of illegal fishing during spawning.

Two citizens, Mavlonov Sarvat and Akramov Dilshod, were detained when leaving the reservoir, 67 fresh fish were found in their rubber boat.

A criminal case has been initiated against these two citizens, and preparatory work is currently underway for submission to the judicial authorities.
