Competition – ecological quiz in the city of Istiqlol and in Bobojon Gafurov district

In pursuance of the "State Comprehensive Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" by the staff of the Main Department of Environmental Protection, the Public Organization "Youth Group for Environmental Protection" / Aarhus Center in Khujand, it is planned to hold a number of joint environmental events in educational institutions this year.

Within the framework of the project "Involvement of stakeholders in solving the problem of uranium waste in Central Asia, Phase II", with the support of the OSCE office in Dushanbe, a KVN environmental quiz was held in the city of Istiqlol and B. Gafurov district.

In the Palace of Culture of Istiqlol, with the participation of students of 6 secondary schools of the city, this quiz competition was held on the implementation of the action plan of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" and protect the "Lands".

The winning teams of this competition were awarded with diplomas, certificates and memorable gifts.

Also, the representative of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Sugd region, as the chairman of the jury, presented the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan to these institutions.
