One-day trainings on environment protection and climate change in KRB areas   

From November 30 to December 9, 2021, within the Project «An integrated landscape approach to enhancing the climate resilience of small-scale farmers and pastoralists in Tajikistan» eight trainings have been conducted in three targeted locations upstream the KRB in Varzob, Vakhdat and Fayzobod districts. To ensure the effectiveness of activities, the professional trainers were hired to conduct one-day training sessions on climate threats and adaptations, as well as familiarizing the gender-balanced participants with the Project outputs and activities in selected jamoats. In addition, the training also prioritized the sessions on how this Project could help to address the mentioned issues, as well as what role should be played by the locals and how joint efforts could decrease the risks. The goal of the activities was similar to the focus group discussions, yet thanks to the professional trainers, these activities provided more clear and detailed information to the participants.

Most importantly, the trainers instructed participants how further to conduct similar trainings and to pass the gained knowledge and skills to the population of their villages.
