Celebration of the Flag Day in the Environmental Protection Sector of the city of Penjikent

In order to celebrate the National Flag Day of the Republic of Tajikistan at a high level, a solemn meeting was held at the Center for Environmental Retraining in Penjikent.

The head of Environment Protection Department of Penjikent Mr. Istamzoda A. made a speech and informed employees about historical importance of the event. The 16th session of Supreme Soviet of Tajikistan November 24, 1992 officially recognized the first symbol of sovereignty and independence - the national flag of the republic.

It was noted that in 2009, on the initiative of the Founder of peace and national unity, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, this historic date was declared the Day of National Flag and is celebrated annually, let this symbol of independent Tajikistan shine forever as a sign of eternal pride of the nation.
