Tree planting in the Kuli Javonon Park

In order to ensure the welfare and improve the ecological situation of the capital, particularly within the initiative of the Chairman of Dushanbe city on gardening and tree planting in autumn 2021 and spring 2022, with the direct participation of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on December 18 of the current year was planted more than 200 decorative saplings in Sino district of Dushanbe city.

The Deputy Chairman of Dushanbe city, employees of the subordinated structure of the Committee, and Sino district executive staff took part in the event. Trees planting was implemented in accordance with agrotechnical requirements.

It should be noted that the event took place on the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the financial support of the OSCE Office in Dushanbe. The OSCE staff also actively participated in the tree planting event.

According to the Main Department of Environmental Protection of Dushanbe, in case of favorable weather conditions, tree planting activities will actively continue in other districts of the capital, in particular in parks, ministries, and departments.
