Congratulations from the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda B.A. on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan

Dear colleagues, nature lovers,

Today the glorious people of Tajikistan with special solemnity celebrate the 27th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the new Tajik statehood on November 6, 1994 the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan was first adopted in the nationwide referendum, and this important date for our people is annually marked with pride as a gratitude to full independence and freedom.

The Constitution is the most important state document that defines the basis of the state structure in political, economic and social terms, which clearly expresses the relationship between the state and people, freedom of speech, conscience and behavior of every citizen. As the supreme law, the Constitution provides the legal basis for the development of the society by adopting new laws, regulates various social relations and contributes to the further development of such relations.

At the 16th fateful session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan the new leadership of the independent state of Tajikistan headed by the patriot of the Motherland, free-thinking and just man, the respected Emomali Rahmon has been elected.

The state power in the person of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was revived, conditions for the restoration of civil society institutions, implementation of rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of people in society were created.

Thus, the people and the state of Tajikistan have developed, adopted and are implementing the Constitution recognizing the features of a sovereign, democratic, secular and unified national state, which is the will of the people as an expression of state power and human rights and freedoms enshrined in this basic national document.

Every citizen is obliged to respect and observe the provisions of the Constitution and the law, because ensuring the rule of law is a sign of a civilized and responsible society, which, in turn, is an essential condition for peace and prosperity in all spheres of society and the state, for the happy life of its inhabitants.

According to the constitutional requirements, every state body, organization and institution, every citizen of the country is obliged to fulfill his/her duties in order to contribute to the improvement of the level and quality of life of our people.

I am sure that the employees of the Committee and the entire industry will continue to make a worthy contribution to the fulfillment of this sacred state task.
