Вохӯриҳо ва аксияҳои экологӣ дар ноҳияи Б. Ғафуров

In the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region, together with the NGO "Safi" within the framework of the project "A world without plastic products", with the support of UNICEF, an information meeting was held at the central market of LLC "Farovon". The information meeting was attended by teachers and students of LLC "Medical College of B. Gafurov district" and representatives of jamoats. A representative of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the district made a speech and provided the participants with detailed information about the damage to plastic products and the creation of workshops for the processing of such waste.

In turn, the head of the NGO "Safi" spoke about the main goal of the project, about the further launch of the production of paper bags and fabric, noting that the implementation of the project will reduce the amount of plastic waste, especially plastic bags.

The purpose of the informational meetings is to increase the level of environmental education and meet the requirements of the Action Plan "State comprehensive Program for the development of education and environmental awareness of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025".

After the meeting at the entrance to the central market of LLC "Farovon" in the district, the "Future without plastic" campaign was organized and held. During the campaign, 1,000 paper bags and 500 cloth bags were distributed to the population, and an appeal was made to support this proposal in the name of public health and to keep the territory clean.

The protection and preservation of the environment is a civil duty of each of us.
