Approval of the plan for planting flowers and trees in the capital

According to the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe, the decision of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe dated October 20, 2021 No. 609 "On approval of the Action Plan for planting trees and shrubs in autumn 2021 and spring 2022 in Dushanbe" was adopted.

As per approved plan, in autumn 2021 and spring 2022, 263,644 bushes will be planted in the districts of the capital, including 77,071 shade trees, 66,277 ornamental trees, 23,156 shrubs and 97,140 fruitful trees.

In order to ensure the attractiveness of streets and squares, as well as parks of culture and recreation, a total of 12,305,082 flowers will be planted in autumn and spring 2021-2022, of which 8,115,180 seasonal flowers, 2,126,430 perennial flowers, 2,063,470 tulips.

Also, in order to improve the environment, 73,925.2 m2 of separate areas will be planted.
