“Clean Area” campaign in Khujand city

Department of Environmental Protection in Khujand according to the action plan for the "Clean Area" campaign, the implementation of the telegram of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the resolution of the Chairman of the Sughd region dated March 14, 2018, No. 89 "30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan 1300 days of shock labor" dated 28.01.2019, No. 4, together with the Executive Body of the state authority of the city of Khujand, the "Clean Area" campaign was held on 10.30.2021 in Khujand.

The campaign was attended by residents of the Syrdarya and Saykhun mahallas, students of secondary schools No. 19, 14, 10, 13, and individual employees of other local organizations and institutions. The participants of the campaign cleared the territory of the turn of the trolleybus base to the market on R. Hajiev Street, and No. 12 mahala.

More than 420 people took part in the campaign, they cleaned 3,500 r/m of irrigation ditches and 1,320.0 m2 of the environment, as a result of which 5.8 cubic meters of garbage were taken to the city landfill.
