Environmental campaigns in the city of Hissar

For the purpose to maintain cleanliness and order in the city during the leaf fall season, at the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Hissar, with the participation of a representative of the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of Land, Common Minerals and Waste Management of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Establishment of the Improvement of the city of Hissar, environmental actions were held on the territory of the city.

The rural jamoats of Somon, Navobod, Mirzo Rizo and the village of Hissar were chosen as the venue for the “Clean Area”, “Clean Coast” and “Clean Road” campaigns, in which 700 workers of various professions, residents of mahals and workers in the field of environmental protection took part. The participants of the campaigns cleaned the Dushanbe–Hissar-Tursunzade highway, streets and crossings, settlements, as well as administrative buildings and drainage ditches from various wastes.
