Another action "Clean Coast" in Khujand

On the 16th of October, 2021 under the initiative of the Khujand Environment Protection Department, in accordance with the event plan on "Clean the bank-2021", realization of the initiative of 1300 days of hard labour towards the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. Executive body of the state power of Khujand city conducted an action "Clean the bank" in Khujand city.

The action was attended by the Medical College of Khujand city, the Center for Cardiovascular Diseases in Sughd region, the Presidential Kindergarten, the Republican Physiotherapy Hospital in Sughd region and the Khujand Polytechnic Professional Lyceum.

A total of 350 people took part in the action, they cleaned the river banks from weeds on the area of 1320 m2, 975.0 m2, as a result 5.5 m3 of waste was collected and taken to the city dump by SUE "Sanitary and Transport Service" of Khujand.

The Department of Environmental Protection of the city carries out constant control over the improvement and landscaping of the city.
