With the participation of the Chairman of the Committee, 200 pine seedlings were planted in the Youth Park of the capital

On the initiative of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, on October 25, together with the UN Resident Coordinator in Tajikistan, within the framework of the Initiative of the Mayor of Dushanbe and the celebration of the United Nations Day (October 24, 1948), a landing campaign was carried out in the city of Dushanbe seedlings in the Youth Park of the capital.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda B.A., Deputy Chairman of the city of Dushanbe Odinozoda D. and UN Resident Representative in Tajikistan Ms. Sinanoglu S.

Chairman of the Committee Sheralizoda B.A., before the action, noted that the initiative of the Mayor of Dushanbe, respected Rustami Emomali, to turn Dushanbe into a green city deserves comprehensive support since the issues of preventing the severe consequences of climate change and protecting the environment are in the focus of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Chairman of the Committee encouraged all participants to contribute to a healthier environment.

Then, within the framework of the event with the participation of representatives of the above organizations, 200 pine seedlings were planted in the Youth Park of Dushanbe.
