At the weekly meeting of the Chairman of the Committee

On October 4 of the current year there was a regular weekly meeting of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. It considered the activities of sectoral bodies for September and tasks for the current month.

Chairman of the Committee Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon presented the agenda to the participants, and then heard the report of the Chief Specialist of the Monitoring and Environmental Policy Department of the Committee Eshonov A.

Then Committee Chairman B.A. Sheralizoda expressed his opinion about insufficient work of some departments and sectors on environmental protection in cities and districts, whose activities were evaluated in the analytical report. Officials of the control department of the central office of the Committee were instructed to identify the root causes of this process and strengthen the work in the direction of state control.

During the meeting each head of the responsible structures of the Committee was asked questions concerning their direction, the results of the Committee's activity for September were summed up and tasks for the October events were given.

After discussing the issues on the agenda and making proposals, appropriate decisions were taken.
