The schedule of removal of garbage from the city of Dushanbe

In connection with the implementation of the Resolution of the Chairman of Dushanbe city "On approval of the order of collection, removal, processing and neutralization of solid waste in the border and administrative territory of Dushanbe" Environmental Protection Department of Dushanbe city conducts inspections and raids, in case of detecting violations, administrative protocols are drawn up.

It should be noted that in accordance with the requirements of the above decision, citizens are required to take household waste to temporary waste disposal sites from 17:00 to 23:00 hours to landfills. According to official data, in 2021 in Dushanbe, there are 1707 landfills, temporary garbage disposal points, of which 673 - in neighborhoods and mahallas, 465 - in enterprises and 569 - mines of multi-storey houses. Analysis shows that from 2017 to date, the number of points and mines has increased by 178 units.

During inspections and raids, it was found that citizens still do not comply with the garbage removal schedule and garbage is scattered around the points. Because of non-compliance with the schedule of removal of the garbage, garbage dumping in unauthorized places, violations of section 5 of the Rules of public order, public order and sanitation in Dushanbe, 592 administrative protocols were drawn up.
