Cleaning of canals on the territory of the capital city

In order to maintain canals, banks and channels in the necessary sanitary condition and to fulfill the order of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the Department of Environmental Protection of Dushanbe the works on cleaning of canals and mudflats are conducted.

In order to maintain the cleanliness of canals during the current year were cleaned canals Khazora, Govkush, Alachabof, Shohmansur, Choryakkoron, Kazakh, Chortut and Kalenin, also mudders Sviridenko, Korgar, Karamov and Zarafshan, as a result, was collected and transported 852 m3 of waste.

It should be noted that the existing channels are designed to irrigate flowers, greenery, trees and squares of Dushanbe districts.

It should be noted that in the first eight months of this year, 24 "Clean Coast" actions were conducted in the capital's districts. Along with the active participation of the public, the employees of the Main Department of Irrigation of Dushanbe also regularly participate in activities to ensure the cleanliness of canals and selesbors.

The Department of Environmental Protection of Dushanbe city in the execution of the order of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to hold the action "Clean Coast-2021" and to implement the action plan approved by the Executive Body of the State Authority of Dushanbe city will strengthen state control in this area, and in conversations and meetings with residents urges the public to participate in the improvement and maintenance of sanitation, and to take an active part in improving the environment in the capital of the Republic of Tajikistan.
