Environmental actions in the city of Vahdat

On August 21 of this year in preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan in accordance with the order of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in rural Jamoat R. Ismoilov, in the villages Hayoti Nav 1 and 2, Zarnisor, Navbahor, Shahdbor, Gandjbor, Sitorai Surkh and Mehrbakhsh of Vahdat were held environmental actions "Clean-up area 2021" and "Clean-up the bank 2021".

275 local residents took an active part in the action "Clean the bank". They cleaned more than 5 000 meters of aryks and channels between villages and farms from different wastes. Also, 260 residents took part in the action "Clean the area" and cleaned the road between the villages, streets and neighborhoods from the garbage.

During these activities, two trucks and one loader were mobilized and 13 m3 of waste was taken to the city's official landfill.
