“Clean Air” operation in Khujand and Bobojon Gafurov district

In order to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, in accordance with the work plan of the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of the Atmosphere of the Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region, the “Clean Air” operation was carried out in Khujand and Bobojon Gafurov district.

During the operation, 38 cars of different brands were examined for emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere as a result of fuel combustion (diesel fuel, gasoline and liquefied gas).

As for the drivers of 8 cars that violated state standards on excessive emissions of pollutants (CO-gases) into the atmosphere, protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up and sent to the State Traffic Inspectorate of cities and districts of the region for taking measures.
