REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
COUNTRY: THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN
NAME OF PROJECT: TAJIKISTAN RESILIENT LANDSCAPE RESTORATION PROJECT
ASSIGNMENT TITLE: RAYON TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Tajikistan Resilient Landscape Restoration Project (TRLRP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services:
- Rayon Technical Specialist - 8 position (1 position for Vanj and Rushon districts, 1 position for Shugnon district, 1 position for Murgob district, 1 position for Ayni and Mastchoh districts, 1 position for Panjakent town, 1 position for Kubodiyon district and 1 position for Shahritus and Nosiri Khusrav districts)
The objective of this assignment is to support building up high and professional linkages between the central project office and field-based project staff, beneficiaries, facilitating organizations, and other project partners and stakeholders.
The prospective place of work of the Specialists will be Project district center with travel to the project sites.

Qualification requirements for given assignment includes:
· University degree in natural resource management, economics, political science, public health, agriculture, business administration and languages;
· At least 3 years of working experience with field-level coordination or monitoring and evaluation in government authorities, international organizations or NGOs;
· Having knowledge of agricultural, environmental, rural development, natural resource management, climate change, and food security issues will be an advantage;
· Having excellent communication, team working, reporting and computer skills (MS office: MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, Internet, E-mail etc.);
· Ability and willingness to travel to project area (sites) is mandatory;
· Fluency in Tajik and Russian languages.
Specialist will be selected according to the procedures set out in Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, November 2017, July 2018 and November 2020.
