The leadership of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan decided to create a club of environmental journalists as part of the implementation of the action plan “State Program for the Development of Education and Environmental Education of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”.

The goal of creating a club of environmental journalists is to increase the environmental awareness of the media when covering environmental issues and the environment. Only with realistic coverage of environmental issues can the level of public awareness be raised.

Within the framework of the club of environmental journalists, once a month, trainings will be held on various aspects of environmental protection.

Domestic media representatives and independent journalists are encouraged to apply to the Ecojournalists’ Club by May 1, 2021.
