Environmental activities in Rudaki district        

Based on the order of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the decision of the Chairman of Rudaki district on May 21 of this year in Istiklol, Rumi, Khojiyon and Karahon villages, in villages and towns of M. Tursunzade and Somoniyon jamoats of the area were conducted campaigns "Clean the bank" and "Cleanliness of the area".

In the course of these actions 75 residents of the above Jamoats participated, 300 meters of banks of the canal "Nijniy Kuktosh", 800 meters of adjacent roads were cleaned from grass and solid waste.

As a result, 8.5 m³ of waste was collected and taken to the official landfill of the district.
