Exchange of Experience in Environmental Education and Culture                   

                                          

On July 16, at the initiative of the Aarhus Center and the State Unitary Enterprise "Nature" under the Committee for Environmental Protection, with the participation of representatives from environmental NGOs, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in Tajikistan, educational institutions, staff from the Committee for Environmental Protection subdivisions in the city of Tursunzade and the Shahrinav district, employees of the Shirkent Historical and Natural Park, and local residents, a forum was organized and held at the Ecological Center of the Shirkent Historical and Natural Park, located in the village of Labi Jai. The forum was titled "Exchange of Experience in Environmental Education and Culture."

During the event, participants exchanged views on ways to enhance environmental awareness and ecological culture. A cleanup campaign was also conducted along the shoreline, involving students from Labi Jai village and eco-volunteers from the Committee.

In addition, 3,700 juvenile freshwater trout, hatched in November 2024, were transferred by the Committee to the "Hakimi" production cooperative for the restoration of fish stocks in the aquatic ecosystem of the Karatog River basin.

At the conclusion of the event, commemorative gifts were presented to the most active participants.
