The weather forecast is provided in various ways through the media. After the Republic of Tajikistan gained its independence, significant progress was made in this direction. In particular, the level, quality and accuracy of forecasts have been improved, and the population is informed about the weather not only through the Agency’s official website, but also in other written and electronic forms.
For the first time, the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has launched a new 3D weather forecast. First time it was broadcast on January 11, 2021 on the Tajikistan TV channel. 3D graphics are designed and prepared daily using special 3D MAX and Adobe After Effects software. With the help of such visualization, viewers can feel the weather, day and night temperatures, wind direction and speed, the presence of natural phenomena through a 3D picture.
Such forecasts for key cities and regions of the country, including Dushanbe, Bokhtar, Kulyab, Khujand, Khorog, Murghab and Rasht districts, will be provided to the population of the country through the pages of the Committee and the Agency on the social networks and Tajik television.
This step is one of the first steps planned by the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to provide new high-quality and reliable meteorological data.
